Working Principle

1. Compress Filter Plates

Operate the hydraulic system to move the tail plate toward the head plate, compressing all filter plates between them. Sealed hollow filter chambers are formed between adjacent filter plates.

2. Feeding Process

The feeding pump delivers sludge into the filter chambers through the feeding holes on the tail plate.

3. Filter pressing Process

Once the filter chambers are fully filled with sludge, the filter pressing process starts. Solid liquid separation is achieved under the pressure from the feeding pump. In the early stage, filter cakes are thin with low resistance, so dehydration proceeds rapidly, requiring a low lift and high flow pump. As filter cakes thicken and resistance increases, dehydration slows down, and a high lift and low flow pump is adopted. The pressing duration is determined by sludge filtration properties and process requirements. Feeding stops once the set pressing time is reached, completing the filter pressing process.

4. Filter Plate Cake Discharge

Operate the hydraulic system to retract the head plate to its original position. The transmission chain on the pulling device sequentially pulls open the filter plates for automatic filter cake discharge.

Feed inlet A adopts DN200 with nominal pressure PN1.0; cleaning port BC and discharge port DE both adopt DN100 with nominal pressure PN1.0.

The flange standard follows GB/T9115 2000 with PN1.6 pressure grade. Key structural dimensions include 453mm and 341mm for front end installation size, 160mm feed inlet center height, 100mm bottom support height.
