SINOU threaded Reinforcing Bar Socket is a targeted bidirectional threaded transition fitting independently researched and produced for various solid-liquid separation wastewater equipment bases. Many environmental equipment operators face the trouble that the base screw holes of filter plate clamps, pump flanges and stirring supports are corroded, slipped and stripped after long-term impact of alkaline sludge and vibration.
Replacing the whole casting base will bring huge shutdown loss and high spare part cost. Our socket solves this pain point by double internal and external thread transition structure. It is installed into the damaged base hole to form a new standard thread without cutting, welding or reaming the equipment body.
Multiple metal raw materials and graded anti-rust surface processes are optional, suitable for mixing plant wastewater workshops, municipal sewage stations and chemical sludge treatment lines.
Unlike disposable extrusion sockets on the market, this socket can be disassembled and reused in later equipment overhaul, effectively reducing the long-term maintenance expenditure of environmental engineering projects.
The whole socket adopts one-piece seamless blank without splicing gap. The inner and outer threads run through the whole pipe body, uniform wall thickness design avoids stress concentration caused by partial thin wall during long-term bolt tightening and equipment vibration.
Two outer contour types are provided: round smooth outer wall for narrow internal equipment space; middle hexagonal outer edge, convenient torque wrench clamping without slipping during locking operation.
The tooth root adopts circular arc transition design, increasing the contact area between thread and bolt. Compared with sharp tooth profile ordinary sockets, it can resist repeated alternating vibration of sludge pump and filter press hydraulic cylinder, greatly reduce the risk of tooth stripping and thread slipping. Both ends are equipped with 30° guiding chamfers to eliminate sharp burrs and prevent thread scratch during installation.
The inner wall of the thread is finely polished after rolling, which reduces the adhesion of cement fine sand and sludge crystals, avoids the problem that the bolt is stuck and difficult to disassemble after long-term immersion in wastewater.
According to different sewage pH values, hot-dip galvanizing, stainless steel passivation and nickel sealing three surface processes are configured, which can isolate alkaline sludge splash, salt mist and chemical liquid erosion for a long time.
Applicable to neutral sewage with pH value between 4-11, such as conventional concrete mixing plant washing wastewater. The zinc coating thickness reaches more than 85μm, passing 72 hours neutral salt spray test, low cost and high cost performance for fixed mixing station routine maintenance.
Suitable for municipal sewage containing trace chloride and slight alkali sludge, the passivation film reduces organic dirt adhesion, and the service life is more than twice that of galvanized carbon steel under humid workshop environment.
Customized for chemical wastewater with strong acid and strong alkali, the composite anti-corrosion layer can resist long-term corrosion of high-concentration chemical medium, and the salt spray test reaches 500 hours, which is the preferred material for chemical sludge treatment projects.
When the original base thread is rusted and slipped, the outer thread of the threaded Reinforcing Bar Socket is screwed into the old hole, and the intact standard inner thread is formed inside, so there is no need to replace the expensive casting base of the pump and filter press, and the maintenance time is shortened by more than 70%.
When the bolt specification is inconsistent with the equipment base hole, the double-layer thread structure realizes size conversion, without modifying the equipment casting, which is convenient for the renovation of old imported wastewater equipment.
The contact area between the outer wall and the base hole is enlarged, which disperses the local pressure generated by bolt locking, buffers the periodic vibration of the sludge pump, and avoids secondary damage to the base thread caused by long-term operation.

① Clean all rust scale, sludge and metal burrs in the base hole with steel wire brush and compressed air before installation.
